Thematic Encounters on Media Diversity and Media Production
These Encounters target journalists from all backgrounds (print, radio, video, multimedia) and are organised to discuss inclusive and diverse ways of media content design and production conditions and to support the pairing of journalists to join together a European Exchange on Media Practices (EEMPs). The 2013 Encounter participants will be invited to participate in a final media production encounter to exchange and share their experiences.
1) San Sebastian (Spain) 12-14 September 2013 – Priority is given to residents of Southern EU member states e.g. Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania etc. Here you can have a look at the Encounter presentation.
2) Groningen (The Netherlands) 18-20 September 2013 – Priority is given to residents of Northern EU member states e.g. Ireland, United Kingdom, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Hungary, Poland etc. Take a look at the Encounter presentation
Thematic Encounter on Media Diversity and Journalism Practice in Greece
The first thematic Encounter on media diversity and journalism practice will be held in Thessaloniki (Greece) from 4-6 October 2013 and will support the development of guidelines for inclusive journalism practice and the pairing of participants to take part in the European Exchanges of Media Practices (EEMPs). The MEDIANE Programme invites chief editors, editorial managers, staff member of regulatory bodies and journalist unions etc. to register for this event. Here you can find the Encounter presentation. This Encounter will be followed by a second national event on journalism practice in Würzburg (Germany) in April 2014.
National Encounter on Media Diversity and Journalism Training in Italy
The first National Encounter on media diversity and journalism training is organised in Florence (Italy) from 23-25 October 2013 and will try to cross media literacy and journalism training approaches to contribute to diversity inclusiveness as a regular approach in the daily media work and support the pairing of participants to get involved in the European Exchanges of Media Practices (EEMPs). The MEDIANE Programme invites media, journalism and media literacy trainers and educators to register for this event. Take a look at the Encounter presentation. This event will be followed by a second National Encounter on media and journalism training in Glasgow (Scotland/UK) in June 2014.
